GM Diagnostics FAQs (MDI, GDS2, Tech2win)

Answer: you plug the device into the OBD2 port, and then you either use Wifi back to the laptop to connect that way ($129), or you can use a usb cable instead ($119). Even through the device is using GDS2,  GM MDI Scan Tool and Tech2win software on the laptop side, the only thing that I have to question is if you can drive firmware upgrades through it to reprogram modules if needed as well? Now the bad news that maybe the op can bring us up to speed, did you mange to get the tech2 win to install on a 64 bit machine with 64 bit windows, or did you install tech2win and the rest of the software a 32windows machine only isntead. How to change W222 speed meter and temperature from F to C

I have a Mercedes-Benz w222 manufactured in the USA. I want to convert the radio and speed meter and temperature from F to C. It means change speed meter from mph to Km/h , and command (Head Unit) from US to ECE , it will via xentry? I am new at this field. Any one know how to change it be xentry or vediamo ? I have  SD Connect C5 and  Dell D630 Star Diagnostic Tool With Vediamo V5.00.05. Can I use VAG-COM on a desk-top computer

1.What if the PC I wish to use with VAG-COM doesn’t have Internet access? Because our software is provided to you via our download page, rather than on floppy disks or CD’s, you will need a way to transfer the Self-Installing EXE file to the PC that you will be using with VAG-COM.
